Do you remember Ann Monk?
A few weeks ago, we met with Ann who used to be the Landlady of The New Inn over 40 years ago. We’re thrilled to announce that she’s agreed to return to the pub as our special lunchtime guest on Monday 3rd March, at the start of British Pie Week 2025.
During the busy summer periods in The New Inn, Ann would bake 300 pies a day and sell them for £1. We won’t attempt to match her prices, but we’re looking forward to hearing her stories about pub life.
