Wine

As well as becoming a destination for great food, we are also building a collection of fine wines to go with that food. Our range of great reds is building, as is our selection of refreshing whites and  Rosés too.

And as it's the height of summer right now, we have featured two of our most delicious and refreshing summer wines below.

The Crossings

Specially selected for the New Inn with a label that could easily have been made with us in mind. Made by one of the leading producers in New Zealand, this is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. There are layers of tropical fruits, herbal notes and citrus on the bouquet. The palate is brimming with pure fruit and bright fresh acidity that drives a complex and mineral finish. Perfect with shellfish and seafood and also works really well with summer salads and lighter risottos, or just as a very enjoyable glass of white wine.

We love this wine and we are also delighted that it is sustainably grown and made.

Provence Rosé: Summer in a Glass

Here at The New Inn, we’re pouring AIX Rosé all summer – by the glass, bottle, or Magnum. One of the most iconic producers in Provence, AIX delivers everything you want from a great rosé: pale salmon colour, fresh red fruits, peach, and delicate floral notes – all wrapped up in an irresistibly elegant sip.

With nearly 90% of Provence dedicated to rosé, it’s no surprise these wines are now a global favourite. Fresh, dry, and effortlessly drinkable, they pair beautifully with sunshine, seafood – or just another glass.
