A Magical evening with Bethan John – Tunes on the Terrace
On Sunday 3rd August, we were absolutely delighted to welcome the incredibly talented Bethan John to The New Inn, Shalfleet for our latest Tunes on the Terrace session.
From the very first note, Bethan’s voice captivated everyone on the terrace – soulful, elegant, and effortlessly beautiful. Her stunning vocals carried across the Terrace, setting the perfect soundtrack to a lazy summer evening. Whether performing heartfelt ballads or upbeat acoustic favourites, she created a warm and relaxing atmosphere that our guests thoroughly enjoyed.
Over the course of her two-hour set, Bethan brought a unique charm and professionalism that truly made the evening special. Her connection with the audience was just as genuine as her musical talent – and we’ve had so many lovely comments from those who came to see her.

We’re already hoping to have Bethan back again very soon – she’s a rare talent, and we feel lucky to have had her grace our terrace stage.
